Warranty Policy
Information on Parts, Products and Warranty Service offered by Digital Mind Corporation
One Year Digital Mind Corporation Limited Warranty
Digital Mind Corporation warrants its hard drive based products for 1-year on defects in materials and workmanship only. Lash memory based products are warranted for 6 months. All other products are warranted for 90 days. The warranty coverage is effective from the date on the invoice. During the warranty period, Digital Mind Corporation will either repair or replace defective parts with new or reconditioned parts without charge to you. In case of discontinued parts, Digital Mind Corporation reserves the right to replace them with equal substitute parts. Any modification of the hardware configuration without the written approval from Digital Mind Corporation will invalidate this warranty.
DMC is not responsible for compatibility issues with customer-specific computer systems. All products have been tested and proven to be compatible with the Operating Systems specified. These tests were performed on computers with standard Operating System installations. We are not responsible for any conflicts that may occur with 3rd party software or peripheral devices. If such conflicts occur, please contact the provider/manufacturer of the 3rd party software or peripheral installed.
Please note: DMC has also done extensive testing to ensure compatibility with the file types our products support. However, there can be many variations in the quality and integrity of user-generated content that may render such content incompatible with portable music players in general. As such, although we guarantee compatibility with digital music file types, we cannot guarantee that all specific files will be playable.
Some compatibility issues can be caused by:
Encoding errors
Unsupported copyright protection
Use of files from unknown origins (eg: P2P networks)
We strongly urge all customers to only use legitimately purchased music.
Warranty Service & Repair Response Time
Most defective items are usually replaced or repaired within 2 - 4 days. Certain products may require longer period for repair since parts may not be readily available.
